Higher Education Tableau User Group (HETUG) February Meeting

Tuesday February 14, 2-3:30 PM

The Higher Education Tableau User Group (HETUG) is organized for and by the higher education #datafam. They meet virtually every month with a primary focus on building community by learning from one another. Your participation in HETUG facilitates cross-institutional pollination by connecting people with resources and tools around the topics of Tableau use, data management, and data literacy in the higher education realm.

They cover topics ranging from beginner tips and tricks, to Tableau Prep and Server/Online, to dashboard design and interactivity. Whether you’re in institutional research, facilities, finance, student success, advancement, academic departments, or just about any facet of a university or college, you’ll learn something in every TUG meeting!

What's happening this month?

•             Bechor Barouch (UT Austin) will tell us about his Tableau journey.

•             Laura Urciuoli (MIT) will show us how to change hearts and minds with a dual-axis timeline that will make your heart melt.

•             Eldrid Sequeira (Mercy) will share how Mercy's data analytics team helped a bunch of departments play well together to figure out how to articulate transfer credits. To paraphrase Hannibal Smith, we love it when a dashboard plan comes together...
