Research 101: The Health Sciences

To access full-text through PubMed:

1. Access PubMed through the Creighton University Libraries A-Z Database List
2. Sign in with your NetID and password if prompted
3. Conduct a search.
4. Click on an article title to view the abstract.
5. Click the button under Full Text Links on the right-hand side of the page

How to set up a search alert in PubMed:

1. Follow the steps above to access PubMed
2. Click the Log In button in the top-right and use your preferred sign-in method (ORCID recommended)
3. Conduct a search for your topic of interest
4. Click the Create Alert link below the search bar
5. Choose your settings such as email frequency
6. Click on the Save button
