CU full-time faculty can self-deposit their scholarly work in ResearchWorks. Anything appropriate for a CV is appropriate for inclusion in ResearchWorks, though you must have the right to post any uploaded files. Deposits are reviewed by library staff. Upon approval, the records will be discoverable in ResearchWorks and Google.

Note: Full-time faculty who did not previously have assets in the PDMS, the CDR, or Pure may not yet have profiles live in ResearchWorks. This is in progress now and faculty will be notified by a library specialist when their profile is live in ResearchWorks.

To deposit your work, go to https://researchworks.creighton.edu/esploro/, and click the Sign in button. Before submitting a paper to the repository, please be sure that all necessary permissions have been cleared. Authors are responsible for ensuring that your submitted content does not infringe any copyright, violate any proprietary rights, contain any libelous matter, or invade the privacy of any person or third party. The attached resources may be helpful in determining what rights authors have for self-archiving their work.

Authors must complete an Submission Agreement for each submission before uploading is allowed. Authors submitting content directly may complete this on the online content submission form. You retain the copyright to your paper and grant us the nonexclusive right to publish this material, meaning that you may also publish it elsewhere.

Most publishers do not allow authors to deposit the official publisher’s version of a published work. You may have permission to upload the pre-print versions (pre-refereed drafts) and/or post-print versions (post-refereed drafts) but the publisher may request a link be included to the publisher’s version. Search the SHERPA database to find out what versions of published work a publisher typically permits authors to deposit.

To edit or remove a work in your ResearchWorks profile, please contact us at researchworks@creighton.edu.. Note: Migrated data is in the process of being deduplicated.  You may notice duplicate works in your profile.  This will be resolved.  In the meantime, works can be hidden on public profiles by selecting the three dots on the right for more options, then selecting 'Hide this work'.
