Healing Conversations for the "Sick and Tired"
This project is a collaboration between the North Omaha community, Creighton at Highlander team - an interprofessional community of practice aimed at culturally-responsive community engagement - and the Health Sciences Library at Creighton University. Fannie Lou Hamer famously stated that she was "sick and tired of being sick and tired," referring to the impact of racism that she felt physically, mentally, spiritually, and politically. The project, "Sick and Tired" will engage the North Omaha community in conversations about mental health and share authoritative mental health information.
