Linking to the Creighton University Libraries

Did you know you can customize Google Scholar to search for access at the Creighton University Libraries? If you are working on-campus or on the Creighton VPN, Google may recognize your IP address to automatically connect you. Follow the steps below to customize your profile to add Creighton access as a default. 

  1. On the Google Scholar homepage, click the three horizontal bars in the upper left corner
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Select "Library Links"
  4. Search for "Creighton University" and select the option with "Full Text@CreightonU"
  5. Click the "Save" button

Now when you search Google Scholar, you will see a Full Text@CreightonU hyperlink next to certain results which will direct you to the Creighton University Libraries' subscriptions to full-text articles.

Google Custom Searches

Google's Programmable Search Engine allows individuals to create custom searches. The following were created by interest groups and information professionals to enable more efficient searching in the browser. This is an extremely limited list and other relevant custom searches may be found on library websites or professional organization websites.
