Exhaust your resources before even thinking about paying for an article or other material. Remember, you're already paying for resources and tools to support your information-seeking and learning.
- 1. Search for the article in JaySearch, the Libraries' catalog; we may have it via another database, not where you were initially searching. Use the widget below or navigate to the Libraries' homepage.
- 2. Be sure you’re using your Creighton University Libraries access – even with Google Scholar. See the "Using Google & Google Scholar tab" for more information. For example, Pubmed may not show you the full-text offerings from the public view. The material may be available open access and findable on the internet
- 3. Ask a librarian
- 4. Or, submit an InterLibrary Loan Request. This service enables you to borrow from other libraries in our consortia at no charge.
- This option is embedded into most of our electronic databases; look for a button or hyperlink directing you to "Request via ILLiad" or "Request using InterLibrary Loan." Use the link below to navigate to more information, including a short tutorial.
