Models of AcSL
- - Project-based: Students produce a deliverable for community organization that functions as a “client” for students. Sometimes research oriented, other times takes the form of a concrete product.
- - Placement-based: Students serve at the community organization as a volunteer.
- - Education/Advocacy-based: Students share knowledge gained in their class with others in order to advance community understanding and mobilization on one or more key issues.
