Our Partnerships with Phoenix Hospital Libraries
When your clerkships to take you to our partner sites, you may be interested in using the hospital libraries for work and study space or for their digital resources, especially if you are conducting research with PIs based at these organizations. Please be sure to check physical and digital access information on each of the library's homepages. The Library at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and Valleywise Health - Library are part of the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance; for more in-depth research assistance navigating IRB and collaborations with principal investigators (PIs), we encourage you to reach out to Miguel Labrego, Program Manager for Scholarly Activity, Creighton University.
The Medical Library at Phoenix Children's Hospital is not part of the Alliance but is another integral education site for our undergraduate and graduate learners. Please refer to their homepage for important access information as well as FAQs.
Please note that you may be required to have additional credentials and authentication through our partner sites to access their digital resources and tools. Creighton University Libraries does not support other library tools and vice versa. While librarians are always happy to assist, we may not have back-end access to directly troubleshoot other library's resources :)
