Jennifer Brady, Ed.D., MLIS

Head - Reference, Research, and Instruction

Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Missouri State University, a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington iSchool in Seattle, WA, and a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration and Instructional Design. Prior to joining our team at Creighton University, Jennifer served as the Director of the Springfield Campus Library for Southwest Baptist University in Springfield, Missouri. Jennifer relocated to Omaha with her husband, Eric, and two fur babies, Aspen and Cheyenne, who have their own Instagram (#bibliopuppy). Jennifer enjoys watching sports, reading, sewing/quilting, and growing new ingredients to cook with. If you’d like to get to know Jennifer better, a chat over coffee or tea is always a great way, or she is always up for your favorite book recommendation.

Ian Hughes, MLIS

Humanities Librarian

Ian is grateful to be joining the RRIS team at Creighton, and with a background in reference and instruction, we are just as excited as he is to welcome him onboard. Ian has a bachelor’s degree in English from Valparaiso University and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. Prior to joining our team at Creighton University, Ian served as the Instruction and Outreach Librarian for Purdue University Northwest in Northwest Indiana. Ian is passionate about mental health awareness and breaking stigmas. His research interests include comedy in the classroom, mental health awareness, breaking the paywall, and information literacy on social media. If you’d like to get to know Ian better, invite him for a round of mini golf, a game of pinball or a board game, and don’t forget to share the best antique haunts.

Eric Feikert, MA

Cataloging & Metadata Librarian

Eric Feikert joined the University Libraries as our new Cataloging & Metadata Librarian this past November. We are very excited to have Eric join our team! While Eric works out of Reinert Library, he assumes bibliographic responsibility for Reinert Library and the Health Sciences Library, including our new Phoenix campus. Eric has a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from UN Kearney and a master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining our team at Creighton University, Eric served as Collections and Curation Intern for the Union Pacific Museum in Council Bluffs, IA. Eric enjoys cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with his wife. If you’d like to get to know Eric better, invite him out for lunch, Hiro 88 might be a really good choice.
