New Liaison responsibilities:

Judi Bergjord has taken on the new job title of Senior Reference & Instruction Librarian for Research Reviews. She will be responsible for leading the Creighton University Libraries review service, including developing, managing, and promoting the University’s new Systematic Review Service program. We are excited for her upcoming workshop this fall on systematic reviews and how it will foster the scholarship efforts for Creighton faculty.

Rose Melonis has taken on the new job title of Reference & Instruction Librarian for Social Sciences. With the realignment of the liaison areas, Rose will be working with areas such as Cultural and Social Studies, History, Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, Women’s, and Gender Studies, as well as Psychology.

Rose Fredrick will be taking on the new job title of Reference & Instruction Librarian for Data Services, including pursuing the Data Services Specialization through the Medical Library Association and taking part in the implementation of Esploro to capture the University research assets. We are excited to have her joining the R&I team full time starting July 1, 2022.

Karl Wirth will be moving to Pete’s team full time with the completion of the Digital Archives Specialist (DAS) certificate program (what a fantastic accomplishment!). He will continue the management of content on DSpace, which will transition to storing and making accessible digitized content for Archives and Special Collections, while scholarly research assets will be input into Esploro.

This page has been updated to include a brief printable list of all the Library Liaison positions, as well as alphabetical lists broken into health science and STEAM areas. If you have any questions about the changes to the Library Liaison roles for your academic area, please contact Jennifer Brady.
