Accessing Article Full Text

To ensure you have access to the large number of journals the library subscribes to, make sure you access all databases, even open access databases like PubMed, through the library's A-Z Database list  or links on library guides like this one. These links will authenticate you as a Creighton user and provide you with full text when available.

If you are looking for a specific article, the easiest way to find the full text is to search for the article in JaySearch, available from the library homepage and further down this page.

If you want to know if the library subscribes to a particular journal, search for the journal in the JaySearch Journal Search.

Requesting Articles

If you want to read an article from a journal the library does not subscribe to, you can get the article for free through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. Simply fill out the required form with the article's citation information on our ILL Request Form. Most article requests are filled within 2 business days and will be sent to your email.

Remember, you never have to pay for an article.
