We are located in the northeast corner of the second floor. If you are facing the terrace, the Library is on the righthand side, past the café.

Daily, 6am to 12am midnight

Access

Creighton faculty, staff, and students with PHSC keycards can enter the Library space during PHSC operating hours via the card reader and can checkout and/or return materials using the Meescan self-checkout kiosk located on the inside of the service window. Upon swiping your Creighton ID in the card reader, the CU Libraries app will guide you through the checkout or return process.

The library is staffed Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Ask for assistance via the service window, located in the browsing area, or by using the keycard reader to enter the Library space.

 

Available Resources

As a reminder, all holdings on the Omaha campus are licensed for the Phoenix campus. Available physical books in our Phoenix collections may be found via JaySearch. Office Supplies

Office supplies such as staplers, hole punch, or a paper cutter are located inside the library. These supplies are maintained by the Library. To ensure access and available supplies for all, please be courteous with the items and do not remove them from the Library space. Please notify the librarian if any instruments are broken and/or missing.

Research Assistance

Research Assistance

Research assistance is a catch-all term…the library can help connect you to resources and information as well as help you learn and develop strategies you need to get there. We can help you: 

  • Find resources through the library and other sources or institutions 

  • Breakdown the research process such as streamlining research questions 

  • Devise search strategies when delving into the literature  

  • Evaluate credibility and authority of sources  

  • Organize coursework or research and/or create citations and bibliographies through citation management software like RefWorks and Zotero 

  • Publish and/or host works via the Creighton Digital Repository 

  • And more! Please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance
